5. Subtract it with the number you started with

Now every person who reads this should end up with 3. The 3rd letter in the alphabet is C. To me this represents Conformity. This example embodies the notion of conformity.

Nobody likes being different because it’s in our nature (as humans) to by default revert back to conformity. The problem with conformity is that by nature, it means assimilating with the environment you are in (following the trend). That means that you do not define your environment, but it subsequently defines you. You are therefore subject to change as the environment you are in changes.

The other problem with conformity is that it is the burial ground of human potential. The good news is that your potential is infinite, you can never deplete it. The bad news is that your potential can be diluted by conformity, inferiority complexes, bad company, laziness and so on.
